2 Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines as per prescriptions and ensure accurate dosage and instructions.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Maintain proper records of medicines, prescriptions, stock, and transactions.
- Monitor pharmacy inventory and ensure timely replenishment of medicines and consumables.
- Check medicine expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions regularly.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines as per applicable guidelines.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff regarding medication requirements.
- Counsel patients/attendants regarding dosage, administration, precautions, and storage of medicines.
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Handle billing and pharmacy-related documentation where required.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper organization of the pharmacy area.
3 What We're Looking For
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy Council registration.
- Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy will be preferred.
