2 Key Responsibilities
Prepare, modify, and optimize CNC & VMC machine programs as per engineering drawings
Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines for production
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters
Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components
Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary program adjustments
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime
Ensure proper machine maintenance and adherence to safety standards
Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve production targets
Maintain records of programs, tooling, and production activities
3 What We're Looking For
Good knowledge of CNC & VMC programming
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming
Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixtures
Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Bore Gauges
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
