1 About the Role
A reputed and growing organisation in the Industrial Engineering sector. Recruitment handled by T&A HR Solutions, an ISO 9001:2015 certified placement consultancy.
2 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine designs for automated systems, incorporating features like PLCs, VFDs, and other automation technologies
- Estimate project costs, identify cost-saving measures, and ensure designs are economically viable
- Build and test prototypes to validate designs and identify areas for improvement
- Create detailed technical drawings, reports, and documentation for the designed systems
- Work with project managers, customers, and other engineering teams to ensure designs meet requirements
- Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
3 What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field
- Knowledge of panel costing and building/wiring and drawing GA (DRIVE PANEL, MCC PANEL, PCC PANEL, PLC CONTROL PANEL, POWER PANEL)
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis
- Familiarity with automation components (PLCs, VFDs, sensors, etc.) and industrial automation systems
- Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
