1 About the Role

2 Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between company and Indian Railways across technical, commercial, and administrative levels
• Travel to RDSO (Lucknow), production units, and zonal headquarters for approvals and inspections
• Facilitate the movement and tracking of files, QAPs, prototype approvals, and vendor registration processes
• Maintain professional relationships with railway officers and departments
• Provide weekly reports on pending approvals, business opportunities, and competitive developments
• Coordinate product demonstrations and site visits
• Monitor trial performance, inspection timelines, and approval progress across product categories
• Ensure accurate submission of technical documentation and compliance reports
• Support internal departments with field information and feedback
• Build and maintain contact networks across railway offices

3 What We're Looking For

• Deep understanding of RDSO specifications and Indian Railways procurement hierarchy
• Ability to interpret technical documents, QAPs, and approval clauses
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills
• Proven record handling coordination with railway officials and inspectors
• Strong administrative discipline and documentation accuracy
• Willingness to travel extensively across India to railway offices, inspection sites, and company production locations
• Graduate in Engineering, Business Administration, or Commerce
• 8–15 years experience in railway liaising, vendor development, or government relations
• Preference for candidates with existing RDSO or railway connections
