2 Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Workplace Design & Development
  • • Develop corporate workplace interiors from concept through design development and execution.
  • • Assist the Design Head in developing design concepts, planning strategies, and design narratives.
  • • Develop efficient workplace layouts considering functionality, user experience, circulation, ergonomics, and space standards.
  • • Translate design intent into detailed and execution-ready drawings.
  • • Maintain consistency between concept, detailed design, and site execution.
  • 2. Technical Documentation
  • • Prepare and review detailed drawings including:
  • o Space plans and furniture layouts
  • o RCPs and ceiling details
  • o Flooring and finish plans
  • o Interior elevations and sections
  • o Partition and wall details
  • o Joinery and furniture details
  • o Door schedules and material specifications
  • • Prepare working drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • • Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and issued within project timelines.
  • • Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation.
  • 3. Consultant & Vendor Coordination
  • • Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, lighting, AV, fire, structural, and other consultants.
  • • Identify and resolve design coordination issues before and during execution.
  • • Review consultant drawings and ensure alignment with the interior design intent.
  • • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, furniture manufacturers, and specialist agencies.
  • • Review shop drawings and technical submissions for design compliance.
  • 4. Site Execution & Quality Control
  • • Conduct regular site visits to monitor implementation of the approved design.
  • • Review site conditions and provide technical solutions wherever required.
  • • Identify design discrepancies, construction issues, and quality concerns.
  • • Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve design-related issues.
  • • Review mock-ups, samples, materials, and workmanship.
  • • Assist with snagging, design audits, and project handover.
  • 5. Materials & Detailing
  • • Develop practical and aesthetically appropriate detailing solutions for workplace interiors.
  • • Assist in selecting finishes, furniture, lighting, hardware, and architectural materials.
  • • Prepare material palettes, sample boards, and material specifications.
  • • Coordinate material samples and approvals with clients and project teams.
  • • Stay updated on workplace materials, furniture systems, sustainability, and emerging design solutions.
  • 6. Client Coordination & Presentations
  • • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination meetings.
  • • Prepare design presentations, drawings, material presentations, and project updates.
  • • Present design and technical solutions clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
  • • Understand client requirements and translate feedback into actionable design revisions.
  • • Communicate technical information in a clear and simplified manner.
  • 7. Project & Team Coordination
  • • Coordinate multiple project deliverables while maintaining design quality and timelines.
  • • Work closely with the Design Head, Project Managers, execution teams, and procurement.
  • • Support junior architects and designers with technical guidance and drawing reviews.
  • • Track design decisions, approvals, revisions, and outstanding project issues.
  • • Proactively identify project risks and coordinate timely solutions.

3 What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture – mandatory.
  • • 4–7 years of experience in architecture/interior architecture, with significant exposure to corporate workplace interiors.
  • • Strong experience in workplace planning, interior detailing, technical documentation, and site coordination.
  • • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • • Strong understanding of:
  • o Workplace planning and space standards
  • o Interior construction and detailing o Furniture and joinery
  • o Materials and finishes
  • o MEP coordination
  • o Site execution and quality control
  • • Excellent presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • • Willingness to travel for project/site visits as required.
