Project Engineer (Electrical)

1 About the Role

2 Key Responsibilities

• End to end project management activities right from project initiation stage till final product delivery
• Determine and define project scope and objectives as per customer requirement and needs
• Determine project specifications by thorough study of performance standards, requirements and technical studies
• Effectively communicate across business functions and different stakeholders
• Interact with suppliers and technicians to deliver according to the project deadlines
• Interact with suppliers as needed for selecting components and clarifying technical queries
• Ensure execution of tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures
• Interact with customers on regular basis, obtain feedback and implement actions
• Manage collections from customers
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Monitor project expenses, exercise cost control, and make adjustments as needed
• Lead a diverse team of electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects adhere to relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies

3 What We're Looking For

• Diploma- Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2-3 yrs experience
• Proven track record as an Electrical Project Manager in the commercial projects
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in relevant tools
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in electrical estimation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS -Excel and MS-Word is a must
• Knowledge of Kannada is a must
